I remember several years back when vacationing in the British Virgin Islands talking to the recreation director and asking if the boats I saw tied up
were actually used on the ocean. He said yes of course why? I said because we have bigger high dollar boats than that at Lake of the Ozarks. He shakes his
head and says why in the world would anyone have a boat that size on a inland lake. The answer is simple, Lake of the Ozarks is in Central Missouri
which is almost dead center in the United States.
